Tsunami Relief Effort

Like people everywhere, Nu Skin Enterprises' distributors and employees are dismayed by the scope of the tragedy in South Asia and are anxiously following the disaster-relief reports for the areas hit by an epic tsunami that smashed into 11 nations across the Indian Ocean recently. Many have contacted corporate headquarters to ask how they can help. At the same time the company has received numerous requests from relief agencies who are seeking funds and products for the recovery efforts. Therefore, arrangements have been made for employees and distributors to participate in the rescue and recovery through both the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, a non-profit organization, and the company's Nourish the Children Initiative.

Nourish the Children Initiative

We have received a request from Feed the Children for donations of VitaMeals. Feed the Children is one of the charities who receive donations of VitaMeals under our Nourish the Children Initiative. VitaMeal is a dehydrated food product which is sold to distributors and their customers. Purchasers may donate the VitaMeals back to the company for further donation to Feed the Children which, in this case, will transport it to the affected areas in southern Asia. The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation

In addition, as has been vividly described in media reports, there is an urgent need for financial assistance for those who have been affected by the earthquake and the ensuing tsunami. The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, a non-profit organization, has received requests from several humanitarian organizations for cash contributions. The Foundation is collecting personal donations in its five regions which will be matched by the Foundation up to US$50,000 per region. One hundred percent of these funds will be passed on to well-established humanitarian organizations.
