How Safe is Your Super Juice?

Well, they said high quality juices were going to be the latest craze in the never ending quest for optimal health. MAN THEY WEREN'T KIDDING! As part of the nutritional and supplement industry, these "Super Fruit" juices and juice blends can really streamline your nutrient intake. And with savvy marketing from Direct Selling companies there is a fortune to be made. But, what about the safety and efficacy of this potent liquid gold.

With the rush for most companies to develop a marketable product, and jump on the "Super Fruit Juice" band wagon, how do you know what your really getting? Take the makers of Noni Juice for example. Their marketing "PR" is really taking a hard hit in France. The French Officials say that Noni Juice is making unsubstantiated claims. Even worse, the French say, "studies are linking Noni Juice to hepatitis." Now I am no medical doctor, but that can't be good.

So, what does it all mean? Well, frankly more care, consideration and investigation needs to be done on the part of the consumer. New products and in some cases, products you have been taking for years should be researched thoroughly. Our governments are not going to go so far as to claim responsibility for the choices we make when it comes to our health. The responsibility lies with each one of us and unscrupulous companies know that most of you will not spend the time it takes to gather the information you need to make an informed decision about any particular product. They know that marketing trumps research every time.
